Terms & Conditions

  1. Our estimates do not allow for VAT
  2. Estimate are fixed price costing, valid for 30 days from the date shown.
  3. No waiting, phasing or attendance on others allowed.
  4. Access equipment for high level works above 3m, e.g. aluminium scaffold towers, is not included.
  5. We assume all lighting is compatible with the layout and switching specified.
  6. We do not allow for any works to the existing mechanical system unless specified or requested.
  7. Our estimates do not allow for day works, Gas / Utility or REC Charges / meters, incoming / site services, builders work, plant, supports, painting, ducting / trenching, fire stops, cutting away etc.
  8. We do not allow for builders works in connection with electrical works (holes, chasing, fire stopping, making good, decorations, rubbish clearance, and finishing trades etc).
  9. Detailed quantities of electrical equipment quoted for are included in the total costs, they have been based on the quantities within the drawings/specification provided by clients. Any variations or additions will be deemed as extra to contract and will need to be costed separately.
  10. We estimate for works to be carried out in normal working hours, unless otherwise stated.
  11. Design development of drawings is not included in estimates.
  12. We assume the main earth bonding to the existing building is compliant to the current BS7671:2018 IET wiring regulations.
  13. We do not allow for site temporary electrical supplies or lighting costs unless specifically quoted for.
  14. We have allowed for free parking for 1 vehicle (if applicable) for 1No. Working Week. Any parking charges will be added to the estimates.
  15. We have allowed for congestion charge for 1 vehicle (if applicable) for 1No. Working Week.
  16. We do not allow for any retention.
  17. Main Contractor Discount is not included or allowed for.
  18. We assume all circuits are compliant with current BS7671:2018 IET Regulations and there is an in-date EICR to support this. We have made no allowance for rectifications to existing circuits which do not comply.
  19. We assume any existing distribution boards meet current IET regulations and have adequate spare ways and readily available MCBs/RCBOs.
  20. We do not allow to supply any mechanical equipment unless specifically quoted, i.e. Extract Fans, Underfloor Heating, Towel Rails etc
  21. All electrical supplies for equipment not supplied by T&C Electrical will terminate at a local isolator. We have made no allowance for connecting equipment not supplied by T&C Electrical.
  22. We allow for containment for the data installation, cabling and final connections by others.
  23. We allow for cabling and containment for the telephone installation, distribution and final connections by others.
  24. If ‘As installed’ drawings are required on completion of the project, a full set of the latest revision of construction drawings will need to be issued in DWG format.
  25. We use prepared quotations supplied by named specialist contractors to produce our tenders, and assume that these quotations are compliant with specification and correct in quantity. We reserve the right to increase costs for these items if the named specialist contractor has supplied an incorrect quotation, or the quotation is out of date at the time of installation.
  26. We reserve the right to adjust our tender price if the price for copper or steel rises by more than 5% from the date of this quotation.
  27. We assume all existing Distribution has suitable SPD protection at the incomer, if not this will require a further survey.
  28. Where local circuits are being altered and adapted we do not allow to replace any AC Type RCBOs with A Type RCBOs.
